McGREGOR
McGregor-Doniger was form in 1921 by David D Doniger. The McGregor label was first used in 1923. The company was a maker of men and boy's sportswear. By the 1950s, they were one of the leading men's sportswear companies in the country. They were able to profit from the trend toward more casual clothing during this time.
In 1963 McGregor produced a women's wear line, but it was never profitable for them, so it was discontinued in 1968.
