PANTALOONS

C. 1910 riding pantaloons with a corselet. These were based upon men's underpants and would have been worn for comfort and warmth under the breeches while out hunting. Legs made out of silk and have wear to the inside of the ride leg (from being hooked over the hunting head of the sidesaddle) and at the upper left leg (from being wedged under the leaping head). The corset is sewn onto the pantaloons and is cut down and altered from a regular "Good Sense Waist" corset. The corset is adjustable at the back with fan lacing from a 23" waist to 25" waist.
