The Fox is found in most of the world's cool climates, particularly Scandinavia and Canada. The animal's fur is known for its soft, glossy, luxuriant feel and is distinguished by its long under fur. It can be beige, blue, brown, red, silver or white. Since the 20th century most Fox fur has been ranched with the majority farmed in Scandinavia. Natural Fox pelts from North America, including wild red or gray Fox, cost much less.
