MANGUIN
Lucille Manguin was a Paris couturier in business 1928 - 1960. The daughter of an impressionist painter, Manguin was known for her perfection of detail in the couture tradition. She was the first couturier to show a collection at night, by candlelight. Upon her retirement she opened an art gallery. |
