FASHIONAIRE
Fashionaire was a ladies division of Hart Schaffner and Marx, who has been a manufacturer of men's wear since 1887. They were the first suit maker to advertise nationally and introduced the zippered trouser in 1936. As a result of the Women's Army Rights Movement, the US Army hired Fashionaire to design uniforms for female cadets per contigency plan USMA OPLAN 75-1, 15 Sep 75 that was implemented for the housing and training of women in the millitary.
