KANGOL
Kangol was started in the Uk by Polish immigrant Jacques Sergene (Jacob Spreiregen) in 1930. He is said to have taken the K from "knit", the ANG from "angora" and the OL from "wool" to form his brand name, Kangol. He made berets for the British military during WWII and later.
In the 1960s Kangol made the famous Beatles' hats, and also did a line designed by Mod designer Mary Quant. Kangol hats are still being made today.
