BEAU BRUMMELL

Beau Brummell was named for Regency era fashion setter George Bryan "Beau" Brummell, father of "Dandyism" and widely credited of being a pioneer of the necktie. According to Brummell, having a gleaming bright and pristine cravat was a triumph.

Beau Brummell Ties was established in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1920.  Beau Brummell ties were widely popular during the 1940s. A young Ralph Lauren designed for Beau Brummell in 1967, and subsequently opened his own business.
