Membership in the Vintage Fashion Guild (VFG) is open to experienced professionals in the vintage fashion industry including, but not limited to: sellers, stylists, designers, fashion editors, curators, researchers, historians and librarians of fashion history. Annual Dues: $35 USD The following is a list of Membership Guidelines for sellers who sell via a Brick & Mortar store, vintage fairs, or antique markets. We review each applicant individually. Membership Guidelines: - 1 year or more vintage selling experience - Majority ratio of selling vintage fashion (includes clothing, accessories, jewelry, linens, patterns, etc.)
-Applicants will be held to the VFG Code of Practice which can be found by clicking here or under "Who We Are" on the menu to the left. Please read this carefully before you submit your application. We Require - Photos of your store (including full exterior including signage, special displays, departments, general displays such as jewelry cabinets, shoe or hat departments, or any other special features which you feel make your store unique) - Scans of any newspaper advertisements, articles, or reviews about your store. Please use the Personal Statement form to let us know what your qualifications are and why you would like to be a member. This is also a great place to let us know what you would, as a member, have to offer the VFG such as marketing skills, web tech support, research, etc. In the Supporting Credentials box, please provide a detailed summary of the extent of your vintage knowledge including your field of expertise, how you acquired your knowledge and any references that you feel would support your stated experience. Note: Complete contact information including a full address and phone number is required. Applications without this information will not be considered. If you have trouble filling in any information, just use any box to submit this information.
Information about your application, including notification of it being accepted or declined, will be sent from vfgmemberships@yahoo.com so please supply us with a VALID email address.
