TIFFEAU & BUSCH LTD.

Jacques Tiffeau was born in France in 1927.  He came to the US in 1952 where he found work as a pattern maker at Monte Sano & Pruzan.  Along with Beverly Pruzan Busch, he formed Tiffeau-Busch in 1958.  They made mid-priced clothes for the youthful set. 

Tiffeau-Busch closed in 1971, and Tiffeau went back to Paris where he worked with Yves Saint Laurent.  He returned to New York in 1976 and designed for Originala and for the Blassport division of Bill Blass.  Tiffeau died in 1988.
