JOSEPH MAGNIN

Joseph Magnin was the son of I. Magnin founder, Mary Ann Magnin.  His three brothers became part of the I. Magnin organization, but Joseph formed his own store that became one of his family's chief competitors in the San Francisco market.

The store was very up scale, carrying the best and most stylish women's labels.  The store went into bankruptsy in 1984.
